This is a full-service experience. Your captain, provided by VIP Lake Travis Tour Boats, LLC, is both your Lake Travis guide and personal chef. Each party boat includes a full array of amenities, outlined below.

Fuel, crew member charges, propane, and safety gear are all included in your Lake Travis party barge package with no additional fees. Your Lake Travis party boat rental also includes the following:
- Second-story waterslide
- Flattop grill with propane
- Two large-sized coolers
- Chairs, tables and a private bathroom
- Bluetooth speaker with double-deck sound system
- Captain/crew will cook for the party if food is brought
- Generator rental is available ($100)
We carry domestic and import/specialty beer kegs (IPAs or ciders). Please talk to management before confirming your order, and we will have your kegs chilled, onboard, and ready to go.

A favorite for the Fourth of July or Memorial Day holiday, the patriotic Stars & Stripes can easily accommodate an Austin party cruise of up to almost 50 guests. There’s nothing more American than a beer-and-barbecue Saturday on Lake Travis’s finest red, white, and blue party barge.
Tequila Sunrise
The Tequila Sunrise is a fan favorite party boat rental, with room for up to 50 guests to really get down. This gorgeous party barge has everything you need to host a stellar event on Lake Travis: a super-fast second-story slide, grill ready to simmer, and a fully flushable private lavatory. Be the life of the lake in this sunset-colored party boat.
Big Tex

Stock Up at the Lake Travis Ship Store
The VIP Lake Travis ship store offers last-minute provisions before you board your party boat rental, such as snacks, beer, wine, and soda. Swimsuits, sunglasses, and flip-flops are also available for purchase. We are also the only boat rental location on Lake Travis that offers watersports for maximum fun. Staff members are on hand to take you and your guests from the parking area to the marina. They will also transport goods and products from your vehicles.
Party Boat Rental Guidelines and Logistics
Below you’ll find everything you need to know about the reservation process and party barge rental rules for Lake Travis.
- A 25% deposit is due upon booking and is non-refundable
- We do not hold reservations
- 75% of the booking price is due 30 days from your reservation
- Payments must be made in full if booked less than 30 days out
- Must cancel within 14 days of reservation to receive a 75% refund
- DJs are welcome. No microphones, and they can provide their own generator or we offer on-site generator rentals
- For our VIP guest safety, we do not allow jet skis and boat rentals to be done together at the same time
- The person who makes the reservation must be available in-person to sign a waiver before the reservation begins
