1. Can I get a boat rental on Lake Travis with a captain?

VIP Lake Travis’s tritoon rentals don’t come with a captain, but all of our 50-person party boats are equipped with a captain who also serves as a guide to the lake and as a private chef (You bring it, we grill it).

2. What boat rentals does your marina have?

VIP Lake Travis offers Berkshire tritoon boat rentals, Sea-Doo jet skis, 50-person party barges, and water toys like water tubes, waterskis, wakeboards, and kneeboards.

3. How much do Lake Travis boat rentals cost?

Our Lake Travis boat rentals cost:

• $150 per hour plus tax for a tritoon
• $115 per hour plus tax for a jet ski

4. Does VIP Lake Travis have a fuel dock?

VIP Lake Travis has a fuel dock with 89-octane (midgrade) gas. We’re proud to offer the best gas prices on Lake Travis so you can fuel a whole day of fun without breaking the bank.

5. Do your boat rentals on Lake Travis, Texas include gas?

All of VIP Lake Travis’s boat rental prices include 89-octane (midgrade) fuel from our gas dock. You won’t have to worry about any hidden fees!

6. Can I bring a pet on my boat rental?

We do allow pets on our boat rentals. When you bring a pet out on Lake Travis, we charge a $50 non-refundable cleaning fee. That cost may be waived for service animals.

7. Do you offer any discounts on Lake Travis boat rentals?

VIP Lake Travis offers a variety of discounts on Lake Travis boat rentals. In addition to short-term seasonal promotions, we are always proud to offer 10 percent “any day” military discounts. We also have weekday (Monday to Thursday) 10 percent discounts. Finally, we offer special pricing for extended reservation slots – you can get $5 off per hour for five- to seven-hour reservations and $10 off per hour for eight- to 10-hour reservations.

8. How do I get a party boat rental on Lake Travis?

You can rent a 50-person party boat from VIP Lake Travis. Each boat comes equipped with a water slide, flattop grill, two coolers, a sound system, chairs and tables, and a captain. We have everything you need for an unforgettable event!

9. What does a party barge on Lake Travis cost?

VIP Lake Travis’s 50-person party barges start at $863 for a three-hour reservation on peak-season weekdays, $1,262 for a peak-season Friday rental, $1,905 for a peak-season four-hour Saturday rental, and $1,520 for a peak-season Sunday rental.

Party barge prices include gas, tax, crew, safety equipment, and the option to add a keg or rent a generator. Party barge rentals may be reserved for four to eight hours. “Peak season” pricing runs from March 1 to September 30, and “Non-peak” pricing continues from October 1 to February 28. 10. Do you have boat slips at Lake Travis?

We have over 140 covered Lake Travis boat slips available. VIP Lake Travis offers four slip sizes – 10’ x 24’, 12’ x 30’, 14’ x 36’, and 16’ x 40’ – to accommodate a wide variety of vessels.

11. Do I need boat storage on Lake Travis?

If you go boating on Lake Travis frequently, you should definitely invest in a boat slip. Boat storage on Lake Travis isn’t just convenient – it also protects your vessel. VIP Lake Travis’s covered wet slips shield your boat from the Texas sun. Our wide, concrete docks give you plenty of space, and because they’re built in one of the deepest sections of Lake Travis, fluctuating water levels don’t interrupt service.

12. How do I rent a slip at VIP Lake Travis?

13. Do you have a ship store?

VIP Lake Travis has a fully stocked ship store that has everything you need for a day on Lake Travis. We have a rotating selection of local beers and ciders, snacks, ice cream, sunscreen, beach towels, swimwear, fishing gear, foam noodles, party supplies, and, of course, ice!

14. What are the VIP Lake Travis marina hours?

During peak boating season (April to September), VIP Lake Travis is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday. When our winter season hours start on September 16, we are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Sunday.

Our Start of Summer Party and Lake Travis Christmas Parade are beloved local traditions, alongside unique experiences like Jersey Day and Superhero Day. 16. What are some of the best things to do on Lake Travis near Austin?

There are so many fun things to do on Lake Travis! Lake Travis is a fishing hub known for its bass and catfish, but you can also enjoy birdwatching, swimming, waterskiing, and wakeboarding on the lake. On land, you can bring the family to Volente Beach Resort & Waterpark, and you can enjoy delicious food at Beachside Billy’s or the Oasis on Lake Travis.
