The Swiftfest
Between March and November, thousands of birds called Chimney Swifts create quite the performance known as the ‘Chimney Swifts of Jonestown’. Watch this marvel of nature unfold before your eyes as they form a vast whirlwind spiraling down to nest. On Saturday, August 19, 2017 between 4:30 – 10:00 PM in the Fireman’s Park at Jonestown, the Swiftfest offers live music, activities and games, art and nature booths for the whole family located at 18649 FM-1431.
